Financial Assistance In Times of Illness or Adversity
The Foundation (“The Foundation”) was established as a not for profit entity to pursue charitable purposes being:
– The advancement or assistance in promoting nursing and midwifery education, practice and research with a view to improving the standard of care by endowing awards, grants and scholarships;
– The fostering and assisting in the care of Nurses and Midwives in times of illness and adversity;
– Undertaking any activity incidental or ancillary to those purposes; and
– Doing other lawful things which are conducive or incidental to the attainment of any of these purposes.
ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE to Registered Nurses, Registered Midwives, Enrolled Nurses who are presently employed or have retired, who because of illness to incapacity require financial help to purchase equipment including prosthesis, wigs, dentures, to facilitate their recovery or well-being.
AMOUNT AVAILABLE will be assess according to needs
APPLICATION FORM to be completed in full with required information attached
VERIFICATION is required by Declaration before a Justice of the Peace
